AFSA Johannesburg Chambers is a new group of advocates situated in the heart of Sandton. The group is known to be pioneering in the fields of alternative dispute resolution (ADR), such as arbitration, mediation and negotiation. The group’s state of the art facilities bodes well for domestic and international arbitrations, seamless virtual court and arbitration settings and remote court work. Our Advocates are also experienced in a range of fields including High Court and Magistrate Court litigation such as motions and trials, as well as advice and opinion work.
The group is currently led by Advocate Lindi Nkosi-Thomas SC, was called to the Bar in 1994 and Silk conferred to her by the President of the Republic of South Africa in 2009.
Transformation is a group imperative, and the group is extremely well represented in terms of diversity. Our Advocates are also appointed as mentors as part of the Johannesburg Bar pupillage program. Our individual members participate in alternative mechanisms of student upliftment, moot court and skills transfer projects.
